April 2008 - Skiing in France pt. 2

When I got back from Poland I started job-hunting for a cool grown-up job. Unfortunately, it wasn't happening because all the job interviews I had were for boring positions in the IT world, and at interviews I just wasn't able to bullshit enough based on my radio past. I had one interview for a position at an entertainment company that I really wanted, but didn't get it (don't feel bad for me just yet), and feeling rejected and poor, I decided to go on the university ski trip to France for a second year in a row. No longer a student, but merely unemployed, I still proceeded to rock it.

The village was called Les Deux Alpes, and these were my roommates. Even though they're dudes, they were still able to keep up with me.

One day I was talking to Jesse, my ultimate party buddy, and he mentioned that we should go raving in the Alps. "Alpe? I don't think that's very realistic man, I doubt we'll be able to pull that off... Wait a minute, what the fuck am I talking about? I already raved in the Alps!" Here's photographic evidence. It started out as a mere toga party...

And the view from our hotel window. We were on the ground floor so we could walk right out onto the slopes. Unfortunately, the police could walk right up to our room as well and harass us for all the garbage on the mountain. But overall, the trip was awesome.

Back in Amsterdam, back at work. Hate telemarketers? I was one for 3 months while I looked for work, harassing unsuspecting victims in England, Ireland and Poland.
