Dutch Wedding - September 2009

Rick and I were invited to a hippie wedding that took place in Nijkerk, the town Rick is from. The bride and groom were old family friends, and the wedding took place in Rick's (childhood) home's yard. Rick's dad did the ceremony - he and the property were granted permission to do it on one night.

There was a food tent, dance tent and booze tent. They also had an arts station set up where you could paint (I painted a mushroom), and a bouncy castle.

The next morning not a trace of the party remained; Rick's house in the background.
Back in Amsterdam, an elephant invasion was taking place. This square is called Spui, and I now live in Rick's house, which is behind the row of houses in the background.
