Scotland Invades - March 2009

Scottish soccer fans are the most enthusiastic in the world, frequently traveling to watch their team play. 80 000 Scottish descended on Amsterdam for a Scotland vs. Holland game, and gathered in Dam Square for a day of pre-game/all weekend long drinking. Maybe their military sent in 80 000 undercover troops to gather intelligence for a future take-over?

Scottish fans' dedication runs beyond mere traveling and extends to grooming as well:

The place was full of "characters"... This one peed on the police truck.

In all the chaos we managed to get away with a chair, which was useful as we were very tired after a whole day of drinking.
